At the counter
How to use your insurance card at Friecca.
Four steps, and no surprises about what you will pay.
- 01
Bring your card and ID
Bring your insurance card and a photo ID, plus the prescription if you have one. If you are claiming for a dependant, bring their card too.
- 02
Tell the counter you are claiming
Say at the start that you are using insurance, before we begin dispensing, so we can follow the right process from the beginning.
- 03
We confirm cover with your insurer
We check what your scheme covers and whether anything needs pre-authorisation. This can take a little time, so please allow for it.
- 04
You pay only any shortfall
Once cover is confirmed we dispense, and you settle whatever your scheme does not cover — by Mobile Money, card or cash.
